Originally from Boulder, Colorado, Heather Truesdall is a cellist, composer, creative collaborator and workshop leader. She is co-founder of the contemporary music ensemble Jetsam (www.jetsamsound.com),
and has performed as part of the Bishopsgate Emerging Artists Program, the Bath International Festival, Cropredy Festival and the City of London Festival as well as in venues such as the Barbican, Trafalgar Square, Union Chapel, St. Luke’s and the Vortex Jazz Club.
A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Heather has run projects for the Masters in Music Leadership course there as well as regularly running projects through Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning and the London Symphony Orchestra.
She has also led creative music and cross arts projects around the world through Singapore’s Yong Siew Toh Conservatoire, through Creative Connections in Grand Rapids, Alexandria and Baltimore, ECCO Gambia and the Cornwall Youth Orchestra. Her passion is to bring the excitement of creative music making to people of all ages and backgrounds.
